We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development executive to join a very successful and fast growing Financial business based in Chelmsford.

This position requires a person who has previously held a sales or business development role, preferably in Financial Services or working with intermediaries.

The position will report in to the Managing Director and work closely with the Marketing team and Underwriting team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for sales, developing business relationships, and being part of disruptive innovation in financial services.

This is a great chance of a hungry, driven sales person to move into a sales leadership role or business development management position with a fast growing company.

Core Responsibilities
•Build relationships with Commercial Finance Brokers & Introducers predominantly by telephone
•Educating the intermediaries on our clients products to drive ongoing leads
•Fielding and responding to queries from intermediaries
•Acquire relationships with new Commercial Finance Brokers through calling UK Broker lists following marketing activities
•To build a sound knowledge of the Industry, gather competitive intel, and commercial awareness to enable the development and growth of the business and to achieve sales targets.
•Recommend process improvement suggestions and initiatives to enhance the success in securing new business opportunities.

To be considered for this position, the successful applicant will need to have at least 2 years experience in business development, customer service, telesales or similar sales experience, working with intermediaries and in the alternative Finance Industry and have a proven track record of hitting sales targets and/or call volumes.

The working hours will be Monday - Friday 09.00am - 5.30pm.

In return our client offers a very attractive package including a very attractive basic salary of between GBP25-30,000pa plus commission, free parking, and 28 days annual leave.
