Within the learning and development team, the ideal person will work as part of the wider HR department by providing ongoing support and training to corporate employees. You must be able to demonstrate:

Requirements:

* Recent relevant professional learning and development experience in a large organisation
* Experience of diagnosing individual and organisational training needs, and advising on training solutions
* The ability to design, develop and deliver a range of training interventions on a wide range of topics
* Experience of planning, co-ordinating and managing significant training initiatives, corporate roll outs or projects making effective and efficient use of resources
* IT proficient, Word & Excel
* Excellent relationship management skills
* Self motivated with a 'can-do attitude'
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment
* Effective communication skills
* Excellent organisational abilities
* Strong attention to detail

Responsibilities:

* Support managers to diagnose individual, team and organisational development needs
* Oversee and quality assure the design, development, organisation and delivery of a wide range of training and development activities in a range of media including eLearning
* Act as an internal business partner assisting managers to bring about change within their teams / divisions to enhance performance
* Source quality training provision and evaluate service delivery
* Contribute to the financial management of the training budget
* Manage training and administrative staff
* Manage Assistance to Study Support Schemes, I.I.P., ILM accreditation etc.
* Conduct tendering exercises, and contract negotiations
