We are looking for an enthusiastic and resilient person to take on the role of Practice Leader within Supported Living Devon. Excellent time management and organisational skills are essential as this post will be required to fulfil both management and direct support duties within this service.

As Practice Leader, you will role model outstanding support whilst also undertaking duties such as rota, appraisals & supervisions, risk assessments, support planning and co-ordinating the regular training of your team. You will be robust and logical in your approach to ensure a stable environment. You will work closely with family, external agencies, and your colleagues - using the expertise of others to ensure access to a holistic, truly person-centred service. You will demonstrate your ability to plan, deliver, and review support on an outcomes focused pathway, considering positive risk taking to develop skills and have meaningful experiences. You will be driven to continuously improve provision and performance of your team to enable the person supported to direct their life by having opportunity, choice and control.

Experience in supporting complex needs in a social care setting is advantageous, but we are looking predominantly for a robust operational leader who is not afraid to be an active team player. This role has physical demands.

We a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee that operates as a provider of social care services for people with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum condition.

We have vast experience in supporting people who have previously challenged services and require very high support needs.
