A unique opportunity has risen to create and develop a brand-new care quality auditing department for CQC regulated services across the UK with a leading care management system provider.

The Candidate:

The Head of Care Quality Audits will have extensive CQC and Quality Assurance background within adult's social care. You will have held a Senior Management role (Regional Manager, Area Manager, Operations Director, Quality Assurance Manager) within a CQC regulated care group.

The Head of Care Quality Audits will also have prior success in designing, reviewing and implementing quality audit processes on a large scale.

You will also have a proven track record of successfully recruiting high level staff including manager's and quality assurance officers.

We are looking for someone who is driven, enthusiastic, proactive and passionate about improving care standards for over 2000 care providers across the UK.

The Job:

The Head of Care Quality Audits will be responsible for building and developing a brand-new service for users of the care management system and any other provider who wishes to have their service externally audited in a mock CQC inspection.

The position will involve designing, creating and piloting a brand-new care quality auditing process and initially undertaking care quality audits to ensure the process is efficient and effective. You will also be responsible for developing administration and tools for the online system to make the user experience as efficient as possible.
Full training on the care management system will be given.

A large part of this role is also to recruit and manage a team of Care Quality Auditors across the UK who will visit care providers and undertake these mock inspections. You will be key to growing this team and improving this new offering to all clients.

You will be working closely with the Managing Director and Director of Care Quality to improve and keep the system up to date with legislation, CQC regulations, policies and practices.

The role is Monday to Friday 9am-5pm but will involve you visiting local care providers to trial and pilot the care auditing method you have designed.

My client is leading provider of care management systems to CQC regulated care homes across the UK. They have thousands of users who rely on this system to keep their policies, procedures and practices up to date and compliant.

My client is determined to provide simpler tools for Care Home Managers and improving care standards for service users across over 2000 providers.
