HR Officer - Leicestershire - cGBP25,000 - cGBP29,000

Our client is one of the East Midlands largest employers and currently experienced a period of growth and reinvestment. Due to this they are looking for an experienced HR Officer to join their team at a site in Leicestershire.

Reporting through to the senior HR team, the HR Officer will support staff and managers with a range of ER issues from disciplinaries and grievance through to absence (both long and short term), capability and performance. The HR Officer will need to use their judgement on a case by case basis to support managers as required which could involve as little as verbal advice right through to chairing an entire meeting.

The HR Officer will also support in a number of pro-active employee relations activities including support, coaching, mentoring and training managers on processes to ensure that they have the skills needed to handle lower level ER themselves. This could also include analysis into root cause and measures for improving ER stats.

To be successful as the HR Officer you will need to be an experienced generalist with a passion for ER and a desire to help people ensure they have the best experience whilst at work. You will need to be an excellent stakeholder relationship builder and have the ability to work at speed in an environment where the goals can sometimes change and all processes aren't always in place.

Experience in a fast paced environment would be an advantage in sectors such as Logistics/Supply chain/manufacturing/FMCG. CIPD would be welcomed but is not essential.
