We are looking for an experience care home manager, for a service in Ayslebury that provides home care to the Elderly.

As a Care Manager, you will be required to ensure all client visits are allocated and plan the effective delivery of our service through the correctly utilisation of available human resources. It is a vital component of the role to continually evaluate the overall quality of the service.

The main purpose of the job is to help clients and families cope with social, emotional, health, economic and environmental difficulties and to help individuals retain independence and live as normal and fulfilling a life as possible in the community.

The wishes of clients and their families are of vital importance in formulating any plans. NVQ/QCF level 3 in Health and Social care minimum and;
• Willing to work towards Leadership and Management in Care Services qualification 2 years management experience within a Social Care environment
• Proven track record of achievement in your current role
• Excellent knowledge of current legislation and standards relating to Social Care
• Highly competent in report writing and presentation skills
• A proven track record in front line management with excellent leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliability and a flexible approach
• Excellent administrative, organisation and computer skills
• Ability to work on own initiative and as a leader and part of a team
• Creativity (e.g. in using community resources, problem solving, dealing with Client needs)
• Professional, accountable, good planning and time management skills

Must hold a full valid driving license.
