Our Client, a FTSE 250 listed company within the Finance and Banking Sector, is currently seeking a Business Analyst to join them on a full time, permanent basis. The role will support and help drive forward key business change programmes and projects. Working as part of a dedicated Business Analyst team, you will be required to work on a number of change initiatives across the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of project and large programme delivery and strong knowledge of all phases of a change delivery lifecycle.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
• Defining, capturing and designing business requirements and processes, ultimately for implementation
• Client facing role - liaising with business users up to middle and senior management levels, Chief Operating Officers and peer directors as well as IT and other delivery Partners
• Supporting and aligning with Programme/Project Managers to ensure the successful delivery of the change initiatives
• Developing a good understanding of the Business Case to ensure the business outcomes are identified and remain aligned throughout the project
• Working closely with subject matter experts to identify and capture the business problems to solve, scope, business requirements and user stories
• Communicating and collaborating with external and internal customers to analyse information needs and functional requirements and deliver the required artifacts as per the change delivery lifecycle
• Assessing the impact of the business change and assisting with the development of training plans, communication plans and planning for transition to business as usual
• Working independently with users or under the direction of the Lead Business Analyst
• Challenging business leads on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans
• Gaining a thorough understanding of customer business needs, interpreting and translating them into application and operational requirements
• Ensuring that all Governance and Compliance requirements are adhered to and all reporting and reviewing activities required by the Regulatory Bodies are carried out to the standards required

Skills and experience
• A relevant business analyst qualification ideal
• A strong academic background to degree level
• Agile (SCRUM) knowledge desirable but not essential
• Significant experience of project and large programme delivery
• Significant experience of traditional waterfall delivery in a structured change environment
• Experience of all phases of a change delivery lifecycle of a significantly sized project
• Strong change management skills
• Ability to interpret and distil complex information and data
• Ability to present ideas in business-friendly, plain English way
• Strong facilitation skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
• Excellent Interpersonal skills
• Skilled in the full MS Office suite, including Visio and Project
• Skilled in project report creation, data analysis, Excel charts and pivot table development
• Highly self-motivated
• Keen attention to detail
