Robert Half Finance and Accounting are recruiting for a Finance Manager for a well-known, high- growth retailer with a worldwide presence.
My client is a global retailer with over GBP4Bn+ sales, 5,500+ locations and more than 60,000 employees across Africa, Europe and Australasia.
This is an highly acquisitive company having recently acquired a well known retail chain! They have opened over 500 stores in the last 5 years and have no intention of slowing down! This role will play a crucial part in business strategy and will give you the opportunity to be involved in substantial M&A work!
Role:Finance Manager who will cover both the European Corporate office and European Group companies!

Job Purpose: The Finance Manager role covers technical accountancy, commercial financial analysis and ad hoc projects. Recent projects have included; Leadership on the restructuring of subsidiaries and analysis of recent acquisitions.
Reporting into: Reporting into the CFO
Leadership of finance team
Trading and financial analysis for presentation to the European Board
Technical accounting policy review and standardisation across the European Group
Analysis of forecasts and decision support to the European board
ACA qualified - 3+ years PQE
Excellent academics from a top university
Retail experience preferred, but not essential
Enthusiastic and can-do team player
Comfortable with quantitative and qualitative analysis
