A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Part Qualified Management Accountant to join a fast growing group of companies based in Leeds.

The business operates in a diverse range of sectors and employs over 800 staff, and are continuing to expand and grow their specialisms.

This role has arisen due to their finance team growing and they are now looking for a driven, motivated and career focused Management Accountant to work directly alongside their Financial Controller. working on of of their divisions

Key duties of the role will include:

* Preparation of accurate Management Accounts including balance sheet, cash flow statement and Interco balances reconciliation within 8 working days of each month end for review and approval by the Group FC
* Assisting with the preparation of management accounts for the division
* Preparation & posting of monthly journals including accruals & prepayments
* Maintenance of fixed asset register & depreciation calculation
* Ensure all bank accounts are reconciled daily & complete monthly reconciliation to nominal
* Monitor and manage divisional cash flow and prepare, maintain and monitor the divisional rolling cash flow forecast
* Manage the aged debtor report and credit control
* Manage the purchase ledger function ensuring accuracy and completeness, review & authorisation of supplier invoices and ensure supplier BACS payments are processed each month in line with group timetable
* Prepare monthly VAT Return in line with group timetable
* Review and processing of four weekly payroll
* Completion of monthly balance sheet & control account reconciliations
* Prepare the year-end audit file and tax pack in line with the timetable agreed with the Auditors, Tax Advisers and Group FC.
* Contribute to the annual budget update, including capital expenditure and cash flow forecasts, in line with the timetable agreed with the Group FC

The successful candidate will:

* Be studying towards ACCA/CIMA - Essential
* Have previous experience of management accounts preparation - Essential
* Have a good knowledge of MS Excel - Essential
* Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, personality is key for this role - Essential
