HVAC Design Engineer - Essex
HVAC Design Engineer - Essex
Our industry leading multi-national client is looking for an HVAC Design Engineer to join our team in Essex to undertake a wide range of design activities, from initial enquiry through to final handover. Reporting to the Design and Engineering Manager, this is an exciting and varied role which will involve some travel and working at customer sites around the world. This is a rare opportunity to join a specialist team to use your broad HVAC design experience for unique environments and gain experience in the Naval, Marine and Offshore field.
Design of on-board systems is crucial to the crews of modern warships, they must be capable of longevity with only minimal maintenance. Subjected to rigorous testing for survivability, efficiency, noise and vibration signature that goes way beyond anything normal commercial equipment would be exposed to before installation.
Our client's systems play an extremely important role in keeping sailors comfortable, and their weapons functioning in difficult and sometimes hostile and demanding environments. Sailors in 'closed down' conditions on surface ships or spending long periods of time below the surface in submarines, can now work in carefully controlled environments, whatever the extremes of temperature outside the vessel. Modern command and control systems require fail safe cooling to work effectively and reliably. Our state-of-the-art components ensure that both equipment and the crew remain cool. Even when the heat is turned up.
