Our quality focused Supported Living client is now looking to recruit an experienced LD Scheme Manager for their Flat scheme in the Carlisle area. Ideally you would have already achieved your level 5 or NVQ 4, or working towards this? You will need to have a solid background of at least 4 years in the LD care sector with 2-3 years management/supervisory experience.
Our client is looking for excellent communication skills, a manager who is very friendly, cheerful, professional and confident and who supports and values staff ensuring staff are developed to their full potential. Our client uses the Cold Harbour system for planning staff rota`s so experience with this system would be helpful but not essential.
Experience with budgets and having good IT skills is necessary and you will need excellent experience with assessments, formulating person centred care plans and ensuring staff deliver high standards of care using the person centred service, you will monitor and support quality and have liaise with care managers, NHS services and external agencies. This is a brand new complex which needs a manager with strong leadership skills and who is friendly and approachable and who is supportive of staff.
