Our client's market-leading offering is leading the way in applying Internet of Things and mobile technologies to transform how routine activities are performed in global markets. They are now looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead their product evolution to the next stage.
This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity to take their established product set and customer base to the next level, including international expansion. The successful applicant will work closely with the commercial and engineering teams, taking responsibility for

Developing and agreeing the product and service roadmap and investment case, liaising with engineering on technology choices and their implications.
Acting as the product owner in the development process, leading and managing the creation of requirements and prioritising the development pipeline
Managing the product launch process, working with operational, support, procurement and marketing colleagues to ensure innovations are launched to relevant stakeholders.

Additionally, the holder of this role will act as a spokesperson and product expert, interacting with customers, prospects, partners and press. They will also be expected to speak at industry events.
Role requirements:

Experience in a product management role in a growing technology business, ideally IoT or SAAS based.
Good understanding of cloud and IoT software technologies. Able to command respect of and to drive performance of development teams.
Engineering or other technical background sufficient to manage a complex product stack including sensor devices, wireless networking, embedded and cloud software
Experience of product management in agile development environments
Experience of both enterprise and SME offerings
Experience of launching products in new markets
Strongly analytical and financially capable
Able to interact with and win the confidence of customers, partners and prospects
Ability to formulate and communicate strategies and plans in a complex environment.
