Revenue Recognition Specialist
You will have good understanding and experience of multiple revenue recognition models, including software and SaaS (software as a service) Providing support and guidance to sales in structuring contracts and addendum's to maximise revenue recognition treatment. Ensuring the appropriate revenue recognition for all revenue arrangements under US GAAP and Company policy Creation of accounting memos and communications to record basis of revenue recognition and articulate that to a senior group of finance and non-finance personnel.Clear understanding of VSOE and other fair value requirements. Clear understanding of internal controls/Sarbanes Oxley requirements in relation to revenue recognition, and more broadly, the quote to cash cycle.
The business is looking for an ambitious, talented finance professional, who wants to develop and grow within a dynamic and fast moving technology company. An excellent academic record, degree educated and ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified would be a distinct advantage. Its is important the individual has the ability to communicate at senior levels, clearly articulating technical and commercial issues appropriately to finance and non-finance audiences. Strong technical experience in relation to US GAAP, specifically revenue recognition, with an ability to apply that commercially to support the business and maximise revenue recognition.
