Sewell Wallis are working with a business in Barnsley who are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Manager to join their team. There is an expected company transition in the near future which is why the ideal candidate for this role would have substantial knowledge of Purchase Ledger and the ability to manage a small but growing team.

Duties:
- Chairing supplier issues meeting.
- Resolving both supplier and AP issues by raising with the relevant stakeholders.
- Supplier statement reconciliation.
- Payment run preparation (BACS) on due dates.
- Processing sundry payments, fuel and cash expense payments, cheque payments.
- Allocations, direct debits, pro-formas.
- Invoice processing / credit notes processing / adjustments / debit note management.
- Setting up new supplier accounts and maintain contract details, bank information etc.

Requirements:
- Ability to manage a team.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- 4 years experience in Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable.

Hours: Full time
Salary: up to GBP24,000
