Permanent, 37 hours per week

Our client is currently seeking a Head of Compliance to work within their property services department to be accountable for overall property compliance, servicing, test and statutory inspections across their property portfolio including gas, fire, water, asbestos, electrics and lifting equipment.

Operationally managing the Group's property compliance strategy you will ensure it is aligned to business plan and delivering a safe, customer-focussed, value for money service. Responsible for developing policies, processes and procedures across a broad range of property compliance areas you will also ensure an effective and efficient control of the direct labour organisations in respect of gas and electrical compliance (circa 50 operatives).

The successful candidate must be able to lead a cross functional team working and also seeks, encourages and values the ideas and expertise of team members. You will also demonstrate in-depth functional expertise and broad business knowledge to achieve financial and operational objectives. Further to this you will be regularly involved in external networking and / or research to gather specific knowledge and information from the industry or sector. In addition you will actively monitor customer satisfaction and address areas of poor service, proactively seeking to find new ways to involve customers / end users.

The post holder will need to be able to display knowledge of a range of legal frameworks relating to the core compliance elements and being able to evidence relevant qualifications would be beneficial.
