Governance Manager - Manchester, provider GBP40000 - GBP44000 Your new company We are a multi-award winning social housing provider based in Manchester. Your new role In this senior role you will be the technical lead on all areas of governance for the organisation, retaining G1 regulatory status through the running of an efficient and professional governance service. Areas of particular interest include corporate & customer governance, as well as assisting in the further development of the organisations information governance function and coordinating the further development of the organisations data protection framework. You will take the lead providing advice to the chair and organisational members, as you review and update governance policies, aligning through the annual compliance and governance framework reviews.

What you'll need to succeed You should have experience of working with governance structures and regulatory bodies, providing board level advice, keeping up to date with legislative changes and horizon scanning. Ideally you will have experience working within the housing sector, interacting with senior stakeholders up to board level and the ability persuade and influence. You should take an interest in the issues facing housing associations and the impact this will have on organisational governance.
