Northreach are looking to recruit a new Head of Regulatory Development for a European Asset Management Organisation based in the City of London.

They are looking for an individual who can bring new ideas, strategy and strong work ethic to the business; whilst holding a high level of communication with key stakeholders and deal with complex issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities include:

Communicate the impacts of fund-related regulatory developments, in relation to distribution.
Analyzing large quantities of complex data to priorities workloads and projects

Provide regular briefings and reporting on regulatory developments and relevant policy issues to senior management and governance bodies, specifically relating to Fund Markets in UK and Europe

Develop internal policy papers on regulatory developments and deliver internal training on regulatory change subject matter

Engage the business on regulatory developments affecting funds and their distribution, co-ordinate feedback and draft responses to regulatory proposals, working closely with Prudential's Group Public Affairs

Liaising with the Compliance Advisory Team on emerging regulatory issues and developments in order for these to be incorporated in Compliance advice delivered to the business

Act as Key contact to executive management team and Board Comity in terms of Regulatory Developments within Fund Industry

Develop and nurture senior stakeholder relationships within the business and with external industry bodies

Experience and Skills required:

In depth knowledge and awareness of UK and European regulatory environments
Strong understanding of interpreting regulations as they apply to retail and institutional investors
Background in development of regulatory policies, interaction with legislators and policymakers
Experience in Fund Management / Wealth Management or similar within the UK and Europe
