We are looking for a Year 5 Teacher to work full time on a 12 month fixed term contract at a friendly Dudley Primary school. The role is due to start in September and the school are happy to take on NQT's but are not in a position to be able to support induction.

The school is 2 form entry and has been graded as 'Good' by Ofsted in its most recent inspection. The proportion of children with SEN and EAL is below the national average, whilst pupil premium funding is above average at about 1/3 of the school.

In order to be considered for the Year 5 Teacher position you need:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Year 5 Teacher experience is an advantage
* An Enhanced DBS certificate
* Work references to cover the last 2 years; at least 1 to be a teaching reference


This is a Year 5 Teacher position so you are expected to have a good grasp of the KS2 curriculum. The school are also looking ideally for someone who is able to lead ICT for the whole school, so past experience as ICT Coordinator would also be a distinct advantage, although it is not a necessity.

As a two form entry school, planning will be shared with your other Year 5 colleague. You will also be given half day PPA time per week and be supported by a teaching assistant in the classroom.
