The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Regional Finance Manager on behalf of a multi-site Property/Construction/Housing business with offices in Milton Keynes
As Regional Finance Manager you will take responsibility for the production of regional management accounts, forecasts and plans whilst providing financial and commercial support to the Regional Finance Director to ensure the region is able to progress towards achieving its objectives. Day to day duties will consist of: working with the regional board, senior management and central services to oversee, control and control management plans in accordance with strict deadlines; monitor regional performance against management plans; production of monthly forecasts including any associated analysis; review of monthly site overhead reports and investigation into the variances; monthly sales & marketing and customer care cost reviews; controlling of general overheads; control of capital expenditure requisitions for plant, computers and equipment; provision of year-end tax analysis; develop and control business strategy; maintain, update and support the regional financial systems and assist in their development; monthly management reporting including trading results, site analysis and performance reporting and sales incentive analysis; year end accounts forecasting and site profitability analysis
You will ideally be a Qualified Accountant with previous industry exposure to Construction, Property, Housing or Service sectors with a strong mix and financial and management accounting. You will have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise across finance and non finance to provide useful insight, analysis and reporting on business performance.
