My client school is looking for a Secondary PRU Teacher who is has the ability to teach cross curricular subjects to a small but demanding class of no more than 5 pupils within KS3 - KS4.

Person Specification

This role requires a capable Secondary PRU Teacher who has worked in a similar environment before with heightened numbers of pupils who experience challenging behaviours, poor social interaction and struggle with concentration. Whilst this role is open to NQT's the school would prefer to meet a Secondary PRU Teacher with a minimum of 2 years' teaching experience. We want to recruit a Secondary PRU Teacher who has the skills to approach unfamiliar situations with a rational mind and calm demeanour, using their skills to ensure a positive outcome.

In this exciting Secondary PRU Teacher role you will be joining a small unit who has a focus on working hard to ensure your pupils are offered every opportunity to learn. The school is proud of its modern and dynamic teaching environment you will be supported by an HLTA and a Graduate TA to support you with lesson planning, behaviour management and implementing the school's ethos and policy's. In this role as Secondary PRU Teacher you be expected to be able to differentiate each student needs focusing in their specific ability.
