Person Specification

The ideal candidate will be a caring Complex Needs Teacher who has experience working with Special Educational Needs and 'English as an Additional Language' pupils and 1 year of solid teaching experience. The school wants to meet a Complex Needs Teacher who has a professional approach when working in a demanding SEN/SEMH environment and the confidence to use their intuition to overcome any challenges .

About the Role

As a Complex Needs Teacher, you will be leading a Year 2 class of 6 high-spirited pupils who present with a range of learning and social needs. Many have a diagnosis of Autism, ADHD or other communication barriers. You will need have the ability to tailor the National Curriculum to your class as you the student's ability will vary. Your lessons need to be hands on to and fun to keep learners fully engaged.
