The Permanent Division of Robert Half International are currently recruiting for a Financial Controller position for a growing sales and distribution business with offices in Luton.
As Financial Controller you will take responsibility for a small finance team and provide a strong core financial and management accounting service to support the Finance Director. Day to day duties will consist of accurate and timely reporting of month end numbers; take ownership of reporting of monthly financials to the Group; monthly balance sheet reconciliations; VAT reporting; management of sales invoices and subsequent reporting; stock management; statutory accounts; management accounts, budgets and forecasts; cashflow reporting and analysis; cash management; preparation for Audit and other ad-hoc tasks.
You will be a Qualified Accountant ideally with 3 years PQE looking for your next development opportunity within an organisation that is building its future and developing a strong customer base within in its market. The role of Financial Controller is a newly created role so the ability to develop and own the role is there as is the opportunity to help the long term growth plans of the business.
