Qualified Social Worker Job - Children In need team - Greenwich

Our client in the Greenwich area is looking for a Social worker to join their Children in need team. You will need to have previous experience in a long term Child in Need (or equivalent) to include Child in need, Child Protection, care proceedings and short term Child in Care.

Your main job duties will include:

  • Managing a Children & Families caseload of various levels of complexity
  • Writing detailed assessments to formulate and review care plans and cases are held for between 3 and 6 months
  • Report and assessment writing
  • Section 17 core assessments
  • Specific intervention in relation to CIN after the initial assessment and the core assessment.
  • CIN plans and reviews of the effectiveness of plan
  • S7 reports
  • Supervision orders
  • Family assistance orders
  • Co-working with other professionals from partner agencies

All candidates will need to be an experienced Social Worker with at least 3 years post qualifying experience, hold HCPC registration and a Social Work qualification.You will also need a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes. Experience in Court/proceedings, C&F Assessments, Core and Parenting Assessments, PLO assessments is essential.
