Counselling and Psychotherapy Referrals Coordinator and User Participa
The Brandon Centre is a charitable organisation that provides contraception and sexual health services and psychotherapy and counselling for young people aged 12-25 years.
An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual, with previous experience as an administrator in a mental health or medical setting, to join our team.
There are two main functions of the post: firstly, to manage the counselling and psychotherapy waiting list for the Brandon Centre's Camden and Islington services and provide administrative support to the counselling and psychotherapy service. This includes taking and processing referrals from young people, parents and professionals and liaising with referrers and other services with support and direction from the clinical lead, keeping waiting lists up to date and general administrative tasks.
Secondly, the post holder will lead on the Centre's service user participation work. In consultation with staff and users of the service, the post-holder will devise and manage a range of participatory activities so that the views of young people are heard at all levels of the service and contribute to service development. The post holder will work together with colleagues to develop this area of the service.
We are looking for candidates with excellent administration skills who have experience engaging with young people and working in a multidisciplinary team.
Contract: One year fixed term (may be extended, subject to funding)
