Are you an influencer with experience of organisational workforce planning?

This is your opportunity to work in a pivotal role alongside senior leaders at the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA).

You'll lead on workforce planning, making sure that DVSA has the skilled people that we need to deliver quality services to our customers.

Responsible for establishing our strategic workforce planning capability, you will develop frameworks and processes to support business units across the Agency.

Your responsibilities in this role include:

• developing the long-term workforce plan to ensure we have the capacity and capability to deliver our 5 year strategy, taking into account demand forecasts and affordability
• producing and maintaining workforce baseline and workforce profiles
• scenario planning, gathering business units' requirements and analysing trends in staffing levels
• managing and developing a team of HR professionals

About you

You will come with excellent experience of analysing management information, using it to create workforce plans and with HR colleagues, developing solutions based on them.

You understand the sector in which we operate and the political and economic factors that affect performance.

Ideally, you will have experience of workforce planning in operational delivery organisations with multi-disciplinary geographically dispersed teams.

About us

We're responsible for improving road safety and setting the standards for driving, motorcycling and vehicle testing.

We make sure that drivers, MOT garages and vehicle operators understand and follow these standards through education, testing and when required enforcement action. The work we do is important as it affects everyone in Great Britain.
