Lecturer in Mental Health

Grade7, GBP40,523 to GBP48,327 per annum, plus GBP2,923 per annum London Allowance

We are looking for outstanding mental health researchers and teachers to join an established department here at King's College London. Applicants for this post will have a record of publication in high impact peer-reviewed journals, and either a distinguished record of obtaining extra-mural grant support, or the clear capacity to develop one, along with demonstrable experience of teaching excellence. The post holder will:

Contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, including planning, organisation and delivery of programmes of study offered by the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing & Midwifery

Undertake high-quality research that contributes to the research themes of the Faculty.

Actively contribute to the governance and organisation of the Faculty.

As an approximate indication, the post holder will devote 40% of their time to research, 40% to teaching activities and 20% to administration, but within our PDR structure there is scope to negotiate the exact focus of the role in accordance with research and teaching income, publications and outcomes.

The post holder will contribute to one of the research programmes based in FNFNM, depending on their research expertise and achievements.

The post holder must have:

• Experience of working and research within Mental Health services.

• An understanding of the changes in health care delivery currently affecting services.

This post will be based primarily at the Waterloo Campus in the James Clerk Maxwell Building but will teach across King's College London campuses and liaise with health care providers supporting learning in practice in different locations.
