The Department of Economics (part of the University's School of Economics, Finance and Management) is seeking to make an appointment at lecturer level (equivalent to an Assistant Professor) in the field of micro-econometrics. This is an open ended position, subject to review.

The Department has an international reputation for excellence in research and teaching. In the most recent UK-wide Research Excellence Framework, the Department was ranked sixth for the quality of research.

Applicants should have a strong research background and display evidence of an ability to publish in top international journals, and an aptitude to teach to the highest standards at both Undergraduate and Masters level.
