They are looking for a senior finance professional to embrace the role of Executive Director of Finance and deliver their mission and objectives through clear direction and effective leadership, promoting a culture which inspires customer service excellence.

About the Role:

The Executive Director of Finance will be the Company Secretary for a subsidiary of the Trust and will advise the Executive and Board on financial and business improvement systems, processes and control mechanisms to deliver business objectives. You will lead on the delivery of the finance, IT and procurement strategy, take a strategic approach to the development, management and use of IT and business improvement resources and create a procurement process that ensures efficiency and value for money.

About You:

They are looking for a suitably qualified senior level company secretary or accountant
(e.g. CIPFA / CIMA / ACA /ACCA) with experience of managing a loan portfolio and lender and investor relationships and you will have held accountability for covenants and long term financial projections. You will have a grasp of the financial compliance and regulatory framework relevant to a housing association and will have experience of developing and managing a strong service culture where organisational infrastructure support frontline service delivery. Direct management experience of a wider portfolio (business improvement, ICT project management) would be highly advantageous.

It is essential that you have excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills that allow you to successfully negotiate and influence.
