Contracts Manager - Healthcare - Central London - Salary up to GBP32,000 per annum plus benefits

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly methodical individual, ideally experienced in contracts management to join one of the UK's leading providers of live-in complex and paediatric nursing and care in Central London.

Ranging from companionship, support and dementia care for the elderly through to more complex conditions such as cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, stroke, spinal injury and other disabling physical and neurological conditions in adults and children.

The role of the Contracts Manager is:

  • Organisation and Management of NHS, Local Authority and private contracts. To include:
  • Standardisation of contracting procedures across the business, contract storage, renewals, compliance, liaison and support of colleagues e.g. finance re invoicing
  • Management of Tenders and Frameworks. To include: monitoring tender notifications, expressing interest, involvement in producing bids and responding to requests for information, contract storage, renewals
  • Monitoring compliance with contractual requirements
  • Liaison and support of colleagues e.g. Finance re invoicing
  • Building a bank of data and responses suitable for using in the majority of tenders and keep this updated
  • Developing Business-to-Business relationships in respect of commercial arrangements for all services including: creating and maintaining an accurate customer database, regular customer contact to include - phone, email and occasional face-to-face
  • Commercial Support for colleagues in respect of contractual matters
  • Production of routine and ad-hoc reports to inform the business

The ideal candidate for the role of Contracts Manager will have:

  • Contract Management experience
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of contracts or services
  • Knowledge of current NHS and/or Local Authority commissioning
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good command of written English
  • Good numeracy
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Highly organised
  • High attention to detail

  • Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Confident to deal with queries and handle complaints
