OVERVIEW
Our international client is looking for an experienced Estimator to join their existing team. The successful candidate will report to the Costing Manager within the finance team. The role involves the production of Product Cost Estimates, Presentation and Explanation of Cost Estimates including Financial Risks & Profitability. It would also require comparison of all subsequent production cost to estimate. All work requires the need for continuous improvement, a high degree of accuracy, a desire to work to their optimum and be an integral part of a small team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS
?????? Estimate product costs from specification and drawings by utilising excel estimate templates.
?????? Contact and co-ordinate the request for cost information from related departments in a timely and increasingly urgent manner.
?????? Provide explanation of product estimate(s) and obtain Manager??????s authorisation.
?????? Maintain on a regular basis, improve and update estimate templates for each product.
?????? Review Estimate compared to Production Cost to identify cost differences needing corrective action.
?????? Provide product cost figures and information to Sales Department for Quality Assurance Meetings, tracking changes between updates.
?????? Produce product estimates for approximately 70 projects per year for Radiators, Charge Air Coolers, Oil or Fuel Coolers, Condensers and modules for some or all the above parts.

?????? Ensure all estimates are updated and amended in line with design changes
?????? Strong relationship builder with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.

?????? Relevant experience of working in a busy Finance Department within the manufacturing sector (desirable).

?????? Advanced Excel / Experience of Business Manufacturing System.
?????? GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
