Network Healthcare is currently recruiting for a Team Leader to work with a short break service that supports adults with learning disabilities, autism and physical disabilities based in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. This is a full time permanent position.

Seeleys House Opportunities and Respite Centre has been providing respite and day opportunities to hundreds of people for over 30 years. The centre offers valuable support during the day and at night when it is needed. Whether it is support during the day, or a short-term break.

The centre creates time and space for personal breaks - not only for clients - but for parents and carers too. During the day, the team offers support through fun and meaningful activities, helping to ensure that people leave Seeleys House with a smile on their face.

The main responsibility of the position will be to support the Registered Manager in all aspects of service delivery ensuring quality and safety standard are maintained in line with CQC regulations and fundamental standards whilst also promoting person centred approaches in meeting the needs of vulnerable adults. In addition to this the successful candidate will be expected to undertake the following duties:

To offer professional support and guidance to a staff team who provide direct care to vulnerable adults
To work in accordance with the legislative framework including the Mental Capacity Act 2005, Care Act 2014 and the regulations and standards governed by the Care Quality Commission (CQC)
To ensure that individuals needs are met in accordance with their support plan.
To manage staff effectively within the performance management framework
To deputise in the absence of the Registered Manager
To ensure that all staff provide an excellent quality service in line with CQC regulations
To ensure that appropriate Care Plans and Risk Assessments are in place.

In order to be considered for this position candidates must be confident in making difficult decisions when shift leading, have extensive experience working with vulnerable adults, have the ability and confidence to manage safeguarding concerns, have excellent communication skills, have previous supervisory experience.

Due to the operating hours of the service it is essential that candidates are able to work shift patterns including early and late shifts and able to work every other weekend.
