This post of Quality Assurance Officer is an integral part to our 'Apprenticeship Services' Team who deliver workplace learning to a value in excess of GBP15m.

You will be responsible for ensuring the compliance of delivery partners with the policies and procedures of both internal and external stakeholders.

You will carry out teaching/assessment observation visits with delivery partners in the middle to the North of the country, whilst ensuring programmes of learning are delivered in accordance with quality assurance policies.

The role includes attending standardisation meetings, offering support to our providers' staff, inspiring others to share our vision of Outstanding performance and reflecting on IAG sessions with each provider.

You will have previous experience of working within a teaching, assessing and quality role, be highly motivated, possess an eye for detail and hold Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths (GCSE or equivalent to Grade C or above).

You will also hold teaching, assessing and Internal Verification qualifications, be IT literate (spreadsheet and word processing skills) and have experience of monitoring targets and action planning. It is essential that you have knowledge of apprenticeship delivery and other work based learning programmes.

This role will involve you travelling to various sites to undertake observations and therefore you will be required to hold a current full UK Driving Licence and have use of a car for business purposes.

There is on rare occasions the need for nights away from home, and you will be expected to visit the Eastleigh College main site when required.
