Sussex Oakleaf is looking for an experienced manager with Financial Management/Accounting experience to join our Senior Management Team (SMT). Managing a small team, you will be working with managers, the SMT and the Board to provide Finance and Resource Management support at both a strategic and operational level. You will ensure the consistent operation of effective budgetary controls and high quality reporting to different stakeholders on all aspects of financial and resource planning and performance.

Ideally, you will be a qualified finance professional (ACCA/ACA/CIMA/AAT) with significant experience of managing and preparing complex budgets and general finance functions including ledgers, payroll and audits through to preparing year end accounts. Preparing reports for presentation to the Board and CEO and supporting the team with annual budget development and input for bids and tenders will mean you will need a positive team approach, as well as good all round written and verbal communication skills.

The post holder will need a 'hands on' and 'can do' approach, that will see you manage and support a small team delivering on central resources including, IT and telecoms support, payroll and procurement and management of central suppliers.
