The University of York holds the contract to deliver the academic teaching on the Think Ahead programme - a new, two-year, accelerated scheme for graduates and career-changers to become mental health social workers. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to play a leading role in the delivery of the second year of this exciting programme.
You will have practice skills in systemic therapies with families or systemic practice in social work in the UK. You will have an understanding of their use in mental health services and a detailed knowledge of the context of mental health services in the UK. You will have experience in teaching and learning in Higher Education at undergraduate and/ or postgraduate level or in a similar context. The post-holder could be based at home outside of York as the teaching is not delivered in York. However, the role involves considerable travel across England so a willingness to travel is also essential.
