Venator is a leading global chemical company dedicated to the development and manufacture of titanium dioxide pigments and performance additives. It has a broad and versatile portfolio of leading pigments and additives that includes many well-known brand names and industry-leading products. Venator operates 27 facilities and employs more than 4,500 people, which serve customers in more than 110 countries.

An opportunity exists to join Venator at their Wynyard location; the Internal Controls & Business Process Analyst will work closely with the Business Process & Controls Manager and with business, IT and control owners across all locations to drive process excellence and encourage innovation, whilst supporting the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the process as well as the risks associated with internal controls including Sarbanes-Oxley.

Ideally of graduate calibre in accounting, business or a related discipline, candidates will have several years' experience in accounting or audit within a large organisation or a public accounting firm, with individuals who have a breadth of experience of particular interest. Knowledge of SOX Act requirements coupled with exposure to internal controls and business process is essential, along with a highly analytical mentality.

Candidates should possess the professional credibility to influence individuals across the entire Venator business footprint to embed a culture of compliance to regulations and control and be approachable and personable to facilitate open and transparent relationships with key stakeholders in each site. The role will require some international travel in order to foster these relationships.
