MP Support Services Officer (3 FTC until October 2018 & 1 Permanent)
IPSA is the independent body created in 2009 to regulate and administer MPs' pay, pensions, business costs and expenses. We are a small organisation working in a high profile, political environment. We manage a budget of GBP170m and are responsible for ensuring transparency and fairness in the way MPs are remunerated. As well as administering MPs' business costs and expenses, we run the payroll for MPs and their staff - around 4,000 people - and are responsible for setting MPs' pay and pensions.
We are seeking to appoint MP Support Services Officers who will act as first point of contact and provide a high-quality service for a group of up to 170 MPs and their staff, to support them in the administration of the Scheme of MPs' Business Costs and Expenses, in order to ensure compliance with principles, rules and processes.
