Registered Operations Manager.Salary: 24,000 - 27,000 (dependent on experience).This role has a sliding salary scale which is linked to growth & compliance and the number of hours of care provided by the service. On-Call responsibilities will be required.Location: The Registered Operations Manager is currently based within the company's Lancashire Office. Travel throughout the North of England will be required as part of the role.Job RequirementsResponsibilities - Registered Operations Manager:The registered operations manager will be responsible for (example list, non-exhaustive):Business Development - Submission of Local Authority contracts, liaising with NHS Trust and Continuing Health Care Teams, Sub-Contracting with other providers, marketing and representing the company to ensure that targets relating to growth are met.Recruitment & Induction - Liaising with the HR Department to ensure that recruitment needs are met in line with the organisation's HR/Recruitment Plan. Ensuring that all new starters receive induction training that covers all mandatory requirements.Day to day operations of the business - Ensuring that Care Coordinators have completed rotas effectively, investigation of any complaints and liaising with HR where necessary, liaising with the finance department regarding payroll, completion of weekly reports to the directors on the performance of the service, completing activities in line with the service improvement plan, writing of highly-detailed, person-centred care plans and risk assessments.Staff Management - Liaising with the HR Department on any disciplinary & grievance issues, managing a team of Care Coordinators & Care Assistants, ensuring that staff perform in line with policy and procedure, supervision & appraisal, conducting spot-checks???Ensuring all Health and Safety Requirements are met.Compliance - Compliance with Action Plans as devised by the Annual Directors' Audit, Development of own Service Improvement Plan, ensuring that the CQC Regulations as set out in the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) 2014 are adhered to at all times.Staff Plan - Ensuring that the company's rostering system has all relevant data on it all times, Updating Staff & Service-User records, ensuring that compliance with the company's Electronic Call Monitoring System is maintained always.Person Specification - Registered Operations Manager:The following are considered essential to the role of Registered Operations Manager:Appropriate Experience within the Health and Social Care Sector within a supervisory or managerial role.Level 5 Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care or willing to work towards.The ability to register with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). This will be considered a pre-requisite to employment.Detailed knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and ensuring compliance with these always.Detailed knowledge of the CQC key line of enquiry and how to apply these in the management of the service.Excellent Communications Skills (Both Verbal & Written).Excellent Administration & IT Skills.Experience using a Health and Social Care Rostering System. E.g.
