We are currently recruiting for an experienced Surgical Ward Nurse to join a dedicated team working within a leading private hospital in the Cheshire area.

The unit it open 24/7 so flexibility is essential as your shifts will vary from earlies to lates.

Your main responsibilities:

* Assess patients health and wellbeing across a complex and changing caseload
* Assist in the delivery of care to meet individual's health and wellbeing needs
* Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information
* Develop own and others knowledge and skills
* Promote best practice in health and safety and security
* Assist in maintaining and developing services
* Contribute to quality improvement
* Promote people's equality, diversity and rights

We are looking for a highly-motivated nurse who will embrace the core values of the hospital. As a staff nurse, you will provide exemplary planned care for patients and assist in the management and organisation of care provision in a variety of hospital settings.

The successful candidate must be a qualified nurse who holds Nursing and Midwifery Council registration, who is able to work well in teams and with minimum supervision. You will have a passion for customers and excellent communication skills.

It is essential that you have experience working on a Surgical Ward, with solid general surgical experience.
