About the position
This could be your first job, but you will have had some experience in managing projects.
You want to develop a good grasp of what sustainability means for business and why companies have to manage issues ranging from ethics and human rights to environmental emissions.
You are a good organiser, clear thinker, have a keen attention to detail and happy to persevere through challenging times. You are unafraid to keep others to the deadlines you have set. You have some knowledge of traditional and digital publishing production. You write clearly.
This is an ideal opportunity for a hard-working, organised person with a passion for sustainability and business who likes working with people from diverse backgrounds. You will progress from project management to consultancy.
- Manage detailed public reports, coordinating multiple contributors. Coordinate a team of writers and consultants. Set up schedules and ensure deadlines are met by the teams. Log and organise all information flows. Work with designers to ensure smooth production. Be the primary point of contact for the client, and lead regular calls to update on progress. Take meeting notes and distribute actions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - able to write clear English Digital and traditional publishing knowledge Very organised, keen attention to detail, with experience in managing projects A passion for sustainability and a desire to be fluent in the full range of corporate sustainability topics A keen interest in business and an understanding of the corporate world An outgoing personality and a passion for client service Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
