Dean Healthcare is proud to be recruiting for a delightful domiciliary care provider in Gloucester. Originally set up from her back garden in Hucclecote Gloucester over 9 years ago, Vicky the owner has now expanded the business across Gloucestershire. Now operating from 'swish' serviced offices with her trusted manager Natalie.I am assisting in finding a DEPUTY MANAGER to join their warm and friendly team. I am REACHING OUT to people who want to work within a small but very lively team. Although the role is predominantly office based it may be that you need to help Agnes get ready for bed as her carer has called in sick, or you need to go and spot check a care assistant to ensure they are using equipment correctly.You can expect starting salary as DEPUTY MANAGER to be between GBP21000 - GBP25000 per annum. 40hr full-time permanent contract.As DEPUTY MANAGER, you will report directly in to the registered manager. You will be responsible for leading and supporting a team of care assistants and Field Care Supervisors ensuring you get the best out of them. You will need to complete supervisions and recognise the needs of your staff team to include training, development, records, appraisal and spot checks to name a few. You will need to complete care plans, risk assessments for the people you support so ideally have worked within an office based senior role within the care sector previously. You will also be responsible for keeping records up to date. You will be required to work on call 2 evening per week and one weekend a month (payment for weekend on call is in addition to your annual salary). You will have a good understanding of CQC regulations.
