Chemotherapy Lead Nurse - London
We are seeking a capable and dynamic Lead Nurse to co-ordinate our client's busy Chemotherapy teams at their acute hospital site, based in the world-renowned medical district of Central London (TfL Zone 1). Working just a short walk from Regent's Park and the West End, this role is within easy reach of TfL and National Rail services (Paddington, Marylebone, Euston, King's X/St. Pancras). This is a full-time role, but our client may be open to considering a part-time hours opportunity; however, rigid rostering cannot be accommodated.Our client is the leading large provider of UK independent healthcare. Working with the elite of the West Midlands' consultant Oncologists and multidisciplinary healthcare specialists, this centre of excellence provides specialist Oncology nursing care, with the aid of the latest technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing professional standards of care across the spectrum of oncology, and providing clinical leadership. This role will include carrying out assessments of patients, making critical judgements to inform clinical decision-making, make treatment recommendations and prescribe treatment appropriately. T Person requirements: Registered Nurse with full registration with the NMC. Significant post-registration experience in Chemotherapy. To be an expert in cancer care and be able to adapt to the differing needs of the patients within the medical and clinical oncology wards. To have completed a recognised Teaching and Assessing/Mentorship qualification, and a relevant post-graduate Oncology/Chemotherapy qualification.
