We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Band 7 Ophthalmology Sister / Charge Nurse to join our client's busy Inpatient and Outpatient departments. This is an NHS role based in the Private Wing of a major NHS Trust in Central London (TfL Zone 1). Working just a short walk from Regent's Park and the West End, this role is within easy reach of TfL and National Rail services (Paddington, Marylebone, Euston, King's X/St. Pancras).The Outpatient Dept sees approx. 30,000 patients a year and has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment programme. The Centre offers dedicated private ophthalmic consulting and diagnostic facilities, together with an adnexal suite, including treatment room for minor procedures, as well as a dedicated intra-vitreal injection suite. The Inpatient Ward is a 24 hour service, with accommodation for 20 patients caring for all ophthalmic specialties and treating approx. 4,500 patients a year.Person requirements:Registered Nurse with full NMC registration.Minimum of four years' post-registration experience in an Ophthalmic setting, with both Inpatient and Outpatient experience.
