R&A Social Worker - Attachment & Relationship Based Practice
Use Attachment and Relationship Based Practice to Improve Outcomes
I am working with a Local Authority in London that trains their Social Workers to use Attachment & Relationship Based Practice to help practitioners gain a deeper understanding of human relationships and interactions. A part of the programme also helps equip staff with the knowledge and skills required to really make a substantial impact on the lives of children and their families.
The opportunities to Learn and Develop are substantial as you will have funding for Post-Qualifying development. The Local Authority also provide an annual programme of masterclasses by leading researchers and practitioners which focus on current national and local issues. There is also a programme of CPD sessions specifically designed for Practitioners.
Working in the Referral and Assessment team you will be using the Single Assessment when responding to referrals regarding Children and their Families. Working within the timescales of the assessment you will be responsible for signposting the case to the appropriate service so that the Child and Family get access to optimal resources to help promote a positive outcome.
If you have experience within a Referral and Assessment team or have experience of working with the Single Assessment I would be very keen to hear from you.
