Teaching Fellow in Entrepreneurship

Job number: ACAD102755

Division/School: Centre for Innovation

Contract type: Open ended contract staff

Working pattern: Full time

Salary: GBP41,709 - GBP46,925 per annum

Location: Bristol, UK

The newly created Centre for Innovation, , which admitted its first students in autumn 2016, is a flagship component of the University of Bristol's strategy to further strengthen the links between education, research, entrepreneurship and innovation, and the leveraging of Bristol's city and region as a unique asset on the international stage.

The Entrepreneurship Teaching Fellow will be central to the further development of the new Innovation Programmes which are at the heart of the Centre for Innovation. The role requires the development and delivery of entrepreneurial teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and to undertake associated administrative duties as required. A key element of the role is to develop further the distinctive 'innovation led entrepreneurship' ethos and approach to teaching through project-based studio learning. You will play a central role in helping students, both individually and in groups, to develop innovation projects into new ventures (social or commercial). Successful applicants may have a background in teaching at a Higher Education Institute or significant experience in an industrial context or are an entrepreneur themselves.
