Registered Fostering Manager with "Outstanding" Organisation

An Ofsted rated "Outstanding" Independent Fostering Agency is looking for a Social Worker with past in Fostering to join its Senior Management Team (SMT) as Head of Children's & Families.

As its new Manager, your role will be helping the organisation grow from its current number of carers. The IFA sustains its current caseloads but having a smaller structure, ensuring easy and quick working for the Social Workers and developing the training of their carers on a regular basis.

You'll also manage two Team Managers as well as a few Supervising Social Workers. A Support Worker network will also fall under your supervision.

This role would be best suited to a Team Manager, Registered Fostering Manager, or someone looking for something with a more "strategic" mind-set. As part of the SMT, you will help shape agency decisions and decide on the best outcome for the agency.

The Role:

  • Head of Children & Families in "Outstanding" Independent Fostering Agency
  • Strategic Decision making - both looked for in the candidate and part of your role
  • Leading two Team Managers and a team of Supervising Social Workers
  • Covering a 30 mile radius in the West Midlands
  • Developing new ways of recruiting and training
  • Sustaining the current caseload of carers
  • Pension
  • Use of a company car
  • A salary of up to 45K per annum

Send your CV to Jack Fisher with a brief cover letter, or call for a confidential discussion about this role.
