Pertemps are currently recruiting for a Retirement Specialist Adviser, with proven experience in a similar industry, to join the friendly and dedicated team at the Isle of Wight office of an international business. The successful candidate will be passionate about customer services and have a genuine interest in problem solving, with the desire to learn and gain professional qualifications where possible.

Key Responsibilities:

- To generate income for the business through the delivery of high quality financial advice to customers over the telephone in respect of options available to them at retirement
- To act as a Pension Transfer Specialist for the advice team
- To operate within FCA and other regulatory rules at all times
- To act in a professional and customer focused manner in accordance with the company values at all times
- To ensure files are kept up to date
- Understanding of writing reports for suitability for customers
- Always interact in a friendly and professional manner

Your role is to ensure that all interactions with the customer are handled in a timely manner and with a response that exceeds all expectations. Our clients key goal is to retain business and acquire new business through exceptional service and this skill needs to be proven in your previous jobs.


- Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or Equivalent
- Advanced Pension Transfer qualification
- Experience of providing financial advice to clients over the telephone and face to face
- A current Statement of Professional Standing and up-to-date Continuous Professional Development records
- Good IT skills
- Previous experience of Assyst CRM
- Knowledge of compliance and data protection requirements
- Able to take ownership of individual issues and ensure they are resolved in an impeccable manner

This particular position is based on working 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday and is due to commence immediately. On a permanent basis
