Technical Automotive Recruiter/Coventry, Gaydon/28000 to 35000 GBP (Per Year)

Main purpose of the role

The main purpose of the Recruitment Specialist is to administer and be the point of contact for the Client and Suppliers to discuss skills and requirements for all open positions/vacancies. The Recruitment Specialist will ensure cost effective and timely placement of all positions and that customer satisfaction is met at all times

Candidate Responsibilities

  • Enter new orders and replacements received from Account Manager (AM) into in house technology
  • Download reports on a daily basis to monitor open orders and candidates bids
  • Liaise with suppliers on a regular basis to discuss job and candidate requirement
  • Update orders details and rebroadcast to relevant suppliers once line up has occurred
  • Pre-screen and route suitable candidates to Manager, ensuring that required skills and education have been met
  • Discuss job requirements with Client where necessary
  • Schedules interviews on behalf of client and liaise with suppliers on current status
  • Declining candidates if minimum skills or education are not met, ensuring correct decline code is used
  • Prepare reports re: status of orders and bids for AM business review meetings
  • Communicating with internal team members to ensure timely placement of position
  • Assist with PO renewals
  • Assist with analysis and information for Customer and Supplier Metrics
  • Participates in quality initiatives to ensure best practice is always achieved
  • Resolve issues that come through the helpdesk from customer or suppliers as assigned
  • Work closely with the internal project staff to provide a greater level of customer service

Competencies and Skills required

  • Automotive/Engineering background with technical expertise
  • Knowledge of web based systems and/or VMS technology would be an advantage but not essential
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office products
  • Driving license as you may be required to attend visits
  • Ability to prioritise workload and respond to all queries in a timely manner
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask whilst staying calm and diplomatic in pressurized environments
  • Customer focused/interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and presentation skills
  • Team player

Reporting to

  • HR Manager/Director

Working hours

  • Full time and prepared to work overtime when needed
