Hays are partnering with a global FTSE 100 automotive manufacturer to appoint a number of Project Managers into their Global Corporate and Strategy Office. This is a unique and exciting permanent opportunity offering GBP40-45k and a significant step-up in your career.
Your new role
As Project Manager, you will sit within the company's Global Product Strategy division. You will be part of a dedicated team that aims to deliver planning activities associated with the pre-phase of the product creation process. Your primary objective therefore will be to define the product concept, applying creative thought, competitive knowledge and strong project/programme management skills to achieving your objectives. You will focus on a number of projects including model upgrades and powertrain implementation. Your role will be cross-functional enabling you to collaborate and co-ordinate key stakeholders within areas such as Cost Engineering, Marketing Strategy, and Finance. In addition, you will lead in the creation of data in support of programme definitions.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role, you will have a relevant Engineering degree or demonstrate a background in this industry. You must demonstrate core Project Management skills including experience of leading strategic projects, coordinating teams and collaborating with stakeholders in a Product delivery environment. We are looking for individuals who differentiate themselves by discussing their knowledge and expertise of the Automotive industry including challenges, customer insight and product development.
