Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract: Permanent & Fixed Term Contracts Available

The 0-25 Together Service has been operating for around nine months and it has been an exciting time as we develop this service to ensure a seamless provision for children, young people and young adults.

We currently have opportunities in our 0-25 Together Service for experienced social workers who have worked in a children's social worker role and are registered with HCPC. You will be responsible for assessing and managing support to children and young people with physical and learning disabilities, as well as citizens who have Autism and their carers. You will have recent experience of managing complex case work in the areas of safeguarding, care proceedings, child in need and personalisation, and you know that with this diverse client group, no two days will be the same.

The social work posts are:

  • 0-25 Locality Teams and highly recommended would be experience in safeguarding and care proceedings with disabled children.
  • 0-25 Child Looked After Team and highly recommended is looked after children experience as well as understanding mental capacity assessments, best interest decisions and supporting leaving care responsibilities.
