Excellent... how about you spend the next 2 minutes reading through this job ad?

I am recruiting on behalf of a Global Organisation in the Financial Services/Banking sector who are seeking to rapidly expand their Software Engineering function. Their HQ is in Central London and the focus of the role will involve a range of responsibilities with a core focus on greenfield product development and the implementation of Agile/Scrum development processes.

You will be working closely with the CTO and Senior Architect to craft state of the art solutions using a range of Open Source/Web technologies. There is a focus on best practice so you will be expected to drive home the message of adhering to coding standards (SOLID, DRY) with a focus on quality over speed.

Agile experience is absolutely CRUCIAL and you will be expected to champion and drive Agile processes throughout the development lifecycle. There will be a big focus on engaging stakeholders around Agile methodologies with a specific focus on Scrum.

This role will also involve true product ownership on an Enterprise scale and the software in question is critical to their Global business offering. You will therefore get the opportunity to contribute to a crucial part of their technology roadmap and will be rewarded with tailored career development and state of the art training.

In terms of core requirements, they are looking for applicants with knowledge and experience of the following:

* Excellent understanding of core Agile/Scrum methodologies and Continuous Delivery.
* Understanding of Test Driven Development and SOLID principles.
* Core Java development experience with JSP/J2EE and experience with RESTful Web Services.
* Strong focus on front end web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript and JQuery.
* Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular2, KnockoutJS and ReactJS.
* Experience with MongoDB and MySQL database technologies.
* Excellent knowledge of core DevOps tools and processes.
* Knowledge of Selenium Web Driver, Jenkins and Karma.

In return for demonstrating some (hopefully all) of the above, you will be rewarded with a salary between GBP90,000-GBP110,000 which will be regularly reviewed throughout your time in the organisation. Moreover, they offer flexible working hours and an excellent benefits package including Private Healthcare (AXA PPP), 10-15% Bonus and Life Assurance.

So if you have reviewed all of the information above and think this position might be of interest then give me a shout.

You can call me on either my office line () or mobile (). Alternatively, if you are at work and prefer email communication then send me an email to .

Anything discussed will be kept completely confidential.
